| A note from the Artistic Director... I would like to thank the multitude of donors, supporters, and artists who have made my dream of creating the opportunity for beauty and expression possible. I will name a few prominent persons below, but wish to acknowledge that the list goes far beyond those mentioned: First and foremost I wish to thank Chris Berube, my best friend and most trusted ally in the world of the arts ; Mr. Jason Hyndman, for without him Ethos would never have been born; Peter Spellos for mentoring myself among countless other actors; Charlie Pasternak (Artistic Director of The Porters of Hellsgate theatre company) for sharing my passion and believing in my vision; Jacques Freydont for his stoicism and patience; Miss Brandelynn Turner for championing my talent and worth as an actress; My Father, Gary Marquardt, for teaching me to 'play with the big boys'; My mother, for truly instilling love and empathy into my being which governs all that I do; My extremely talented sister, Rebecca, for setting a bar to reach for; and each and every artist and actor who has worked with Ethos. I hope that we have enriched your life as you have ours. with deepest and most humble regards, Amanda Marquardt Artistic Director Ethos Theatre Company |

| Our History and Mission Since the inaugural production of the Ethos Theatre Company in August of 2003, the company has undergone a multitude of changes and transitions. The ETC has travelled down a rich and treasured path producing over 20 productions and finally coming to nest in our permanent home on the Trestage in Hollywood, CA. Throughout our journey as a classical company the ETC has made it its mission to honor the classical works that have been handed down to us through many generations by bearing them aptly as gifts to our own. |
